Prudns is an Australian alt-ethereal-pop singer-songwriter and producer, crafting vibrant soundscapes that merge improvisation, pop and poetry.With over 25 songs released independently since 2021, Prudns is on a mission to create explorative songs with genuine feeling. Writing only from personal experiences, (almost) everything you hear is entirely written, produced, recorded and mixed by Prudns.Prudns first felt the pull towards music after watching the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line" at the age of 8. Fast forward 14 years during the COVID-19 lockdowns, she taught herself to produce her own beats which quickly evolved into an obsession.Influenced by artists like Deep Forest, Jeff Buckley, Oklou, Caroline Polachek, Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead, Bjork and Blonde Redhead. Prudns continues to build her unique sonic world that is hard to define.Her work has been recognised through the Women in Music Mentor Program, APRA AMCOS 321 Sessions, Airlock Studios Immersive Program, and a residency at 4000 Studios. She was a finalist for the Upstart Award, a semi-finalist in the Listen Up Songwriting Prize, and a participant in Open Studios by MusicACT.Beyond her solo music, Prudns is a creative facilitator. She founded "Open Tracks," a music producer program supporting artists to share their work and build authentic creative practices.
